(The great falconry hunt.) Lively hunting scene with figures on foot and horseback, hunting birds with falcons. Original painting by dutch painter Philips Wouwerman (1619 – 1668). Engraved and published by Jean Moyreau (French, 1690-1762) in 1733.

May or may not be original etching?

  • Small tears, bent corners, and signs of age

  • Marked “Grande Chasse Au”, “Cerf. France”, “Dedie A Monseigneur”
