These antique handmade salt glazed stoneware canning jars once lined the shelves of kitchens across the country, filled with everything from butter to pickled vegetables and salted meats. Now we love to see them filled with fresh or dried florals, or simply used to adorn a mantel or bookshelf to add the perfect vintage touch to the modern home.

  • Jars were found in Ohio and date to the early 1800s

  • Listing is for one (1) salt glazed crock

  • Each is unique and special. We'll choose a pretty one for your collection.

  • Jars are beautiful varying shades of yellow ochre and have great patina

  • Some imperfections in the glaze resulting in a mottled appearance

  • Crocks show signs of age and use including some light crazing and minor imperfections

  • Jars range from approximately 4.75” W - 5.25” W at the base and have a 2” W opening

  • Jars range from 7.75” H - 8.25” H
