Antique Wooden Puzzle Hat Block
Used for over a century to create custom hats, these antique wooden hat blocks were salvaged from a family millinery in Italy. In millinery, 'blocking' is the process of shaping material onto a mold to form the body of the hat. Hat blocks are the molds used in this process. Each of these molds are comprised of 5 pieces which piece together like a puzzle. These blocks are unique focal piece additions to your bookshelf decor or are perfect for displaying one of your favorite hats.

Wooden Hat Block TWO: Has ink markings and the number “57” carved into the underside. 9.5” L x 8.25” W x 4” H (22 3/4” circumference)
