We are completely enamored with this stunning, one-of-a-kind Swedish crown cupboard! A very difficult-to-find and wonderful collectible piece, the cupboard is in its original condition. Featuring lovely hand-painted panels with traditional kurbits folk art in the form of flowers, the cupboard is topped with intricately painted crown molding, which is removable. The cupboard consists of warm, muted shades of periwinkle, aubergine, and sage green, which have aged to a beautiful patina.

The hand-forged lock and interior clip are functional, and the skeleton keys are present. Iron escutcheons and strap hinges are also present. A single shelf is enclosed behind both the upper and lower doors, with the addition of a notched wooden rack inside the upper (once used for holding the family’s prized silver serving spoons). Two small drawers tucked between the cupboard doors provide additional storage.

Wear, scratches, dings, age-related cracks/separation, etc. are visible but do not detract from the beauty or function of this gracefully aged cupboard.
