A lovely Swedish encoignure (corner) cabinet has a single door that opens to reveal three shelves.

The cabinet features a beautiful dry-scraped finish having layers of the original creamy white and blue-gray paint revealing areas of the natural wood beneath. The body of the cabinet is decorated with inset beveled panels at each side of the door, while the door itself boasts a single panel that is embellished with scalloped corner details. The interior has been painted with a new, durable shade of aqua paint (as found).

Original iron hinges, diamond-shaped escutcheon, and key are present and in good working condition. Decorative crown molding at the top, trim around the base, and “teardrop” bun feet round out the look of the cabinet. This one-of-a-kind cabinet would work well in a kitchen, bedroom, or bathroom for extra storage.
