Stunning 18th century French Louis XV period side table featuring intricately carved rocaille details. This accent table features an elongated bookmatched walnut wood top with moulded edges and rounded corners which rests atop a striking apron. The apron showcases a hand-carved floral, leaf and scroll motif, indicative of the Rococo style of the period. Low-relief carved detailing continues to the knees of the graceful cabriole legs, which are joined by a lovely accented cross stretcher, and end in typical ornamental Louis XV style toes. The striking, warm patina, and elegant shape of this beautiful table makes it a perfect accent piece for any room.
