Antique Harrods Hot Closet Meat Screen

$0.00
Sold

A very rare and unique piece!

Featured in the 1895 Harrods London luxury department store catalog, this firescreen would have been an essential tool in the affluent Victorian kitchen.

When the meat is roasting, this screen is placed in front of the fire, to condense the heat as much as possible.
