Antique Sorter Cabinet
A solid wood antique sorter cabinet perfect for use as an upper in the kitchen. Whether hung on the wall, or fitted atop the kitchen counter, the myriad of cubbies make this cabinet ideal for keeping preserves, wine bottles, glassware, dishes and the like, neat and organized.
Over the years, we have spent many a night staying in quaint cottages throughout the Cotswolds, and have become quite smitten with the idea of an “unfitted” kitchen. There’s something to be said about the ability to build a room around sturdy pieces of furniture and antiques that speak to the soul. Using such pieces to finish one of the most important rooms in the house is definitely our cup of (English!) tea!

Original upper trim moulding was removed at some point (a long time ago, as found)
The top row has 3 cubbies that are each, 6” W x 3” H x 12”D and 3 that are 4” W x 3” H x 12” D. The second, third, and fourth rows have 3 cubbies that are each, 6” W x 5” H x 12” D and 3 that are 4” W x 5” H x 12” D. The bottom row has 6 cubbies that are each 3.5” W x 17” H x 12”D and 2 cubbies that are each 3.5” W x 8” H x 12”D and one that is 7.5” W x 9” H x 12” D.
Overall measurements approximately 42” W x 13 1/8” D x 45.75” H
