Antique Wicker Shipping Basket
Crafted from woven wicker, this antique lidded shipping basket is rich with character and history. Offering a glimpse into vintage craftsmanship, the basket features a canvas-lined lid stamped with the words “Fragile” and “#GB.” Remnants of an old shipping label on the lid and a weathered hang tag on the single remaining handle further hint at its storied past.
Leather and iron hardware provide functional durability, complementing the aged appeal of the piece. Although well-loved and showing signs of wear, including some wicker damage and a worn bottom corner, the basket’s interior canvas lining remains in relatively good condition, considering its years of use.
