Apothecary Store Counter
An antique apothecary store counter from Belgium. This gorgeous large counter has the most amazing (old) crackled paint, open shelves on the backside, and two small (divided) drawers. The left end of the cabinet is painted in a faux bois finish, while a beautiful scrolled wrought iron plaque adorns the front. An attached metal piping shelf sits atop the counter in the center with cast iron brackets holding two glass shelves (may not be original). This one-of-a-kind piece would make a jaw-dropper of a kitchen island!
The top is stained with a walnut finish that is weathered and tells the tale of its storied past
Drawers have their original mismatched knobs
The piece has been cleaned and lightly waxed
Glass shelving unit is held in place with a few screws and is easily removed if desired
