Art Deco French Leather Club Chair

An original Art Deco French leather club chair featuring soft worn leather and a deep comfortable seat. The sloped detail of the chair’s back, high in the center finishing in a crisp point at the corners, gives the chair its name “Chapeau de Gendarme”, as it resembles French police officers’ hats of the 1920s. Oversized scrolled arms, simple wooden feet, and nailhead trim outlining the back of the chair round out the design.
