Cupboard Door, 20.75" x 46.5"
Crafted in walnut in 19th-century France, this single provincial cupboard door features a simple paneled construction with a subtly shaped upper panel that adds just the right amount of decorative detail.
The warm, naturally aged walnut retains a beautifully worn surface, with variations in tone, old marks, and evidence of generations of use. An original iron escutcheon remains along one side, while small holes and traces of previous hardware offer further evidence of the door's working past.
Its narrow proportions make it especially suited for incorporating into custom cabinetry or millwork—a pantry, linen cupboard, built-in bar, or other architectural project where an authentic antique element can bring warmth and history to a newer space.
Salvaged in France, circa 1840 - 1870
Crafted from walnut with a medium chestnut-hued stain
Original iron escutcheon and lockbox are present
Four vent holes are drilled into the center of the door (as found)
Approximately 20.75” W x 46.5” H x .75” D
Available for pickup, local delivery, and nationwide shipping.
