English Work Table with Painted Base
This sturdy vintage English work table, with a blue painted base, would make an excellent dining table or rustic island in a modern kitchen. Constructed using pegged mortise and tenon joinery, and heavy hand-forged iron bolts, this solid wood work table’s appeal comes from its worn patina that has been honed over many generations of use. The 4-panel top has been stained in a deep walnut finish and has been sealed with a protective wax, but the chippy blue paint around the base was left as found.

The top has been stained dark walnut and sealed
Original blue paint has worn in areas to reveal the wood beneath
