






























































Exterior Door, Lite Over Panel, 33.5" x 93.5"
Dating to the late 19th century, this American exterior door is a striking blend of utility and age-worn character. Once the first impression of a stately Victorian-era home, it features a large upper lite originally intended for glass and a recessed lower panel surrounded by a molded frame.
Layers of deep teal and cool gray paint have worn and crackled over time, creating a wonderfully mottled patina that reveals glimpses of the original wood beneath.
Salvaged in America, circa 1880 - 1900
The original glass is no longer present
All hardware has been removed (as found)
Minor wood separation present, with overall condition consistent with age and use
