Pair of provincial Swedish 19th century Rococo chairs. The chairs have been dry scraped and reveal traces of the original paint color. Structurally good and sturdy.
The seat and reinforcements under-seat were added at a later date (as found)
Seat cushion needs upholstery, the liner is in good condition with light staining
Signature found underneath the seat of one chair
Each chair is approximately 37” high x 16” deep at feet and 18” wide at feet
Seat is approximately 18” high, 17” wide at the front, and 14” at the back
