(Pair) Wardrobe Doors, Provincial, 41.5" x 66.125"
19th-century provincial French oak wardrobe doors with classic three-panel construction and gracefully shaped upper panels. The oak has aged to a warm, mellow tone, with softly worn surfaces, visible grain, and subtle variation throughout, giving the pair a naturally time-softened appearance.
Simple yet richly textured, the doors embody the understated character of provincial French craftsmanship. Retaining their original hinges and long, linear proportions, they make a striking architectural element repurposed as decorative wall panels, sliding doors, or integrated into custom cabinetry and built-ins.
Salvaged in France, 19th-century
Crafted from solid oak
Three-panel design with shaped upper panels
Light scuffs and surface variation throughout
Original escutcheons with oxidation
4 partial steeple point hinges remain
Structurally sound
Minor shrinkage and movement consistent with age
When together, doors measure approximately 41.5" W x 66.125" H x 1.5" D
