(Pair) Wardrobe Doors, Provincial, 49.75" x 76"
Pair of antique French provincial wardrobe doors crafted in walnut with a gently arched top and decorative raised panel detailing. The front retains an aged pale blue-gray painted finish with visible wear, while the reverse shows the warm walnut surface, offering flexibility depending on installation and use.
Original hardware elements remain, and the doors show honest surface wear throughout, consistent with age and long use. The shaped panels and arched crest give these doors strong character without feeling overly ornate.
Well-suited for decorative wall installation, built-in cabinetry, or creative architectural reuse where texture, color, and form are desired.
Salvaged in France, circa 1850 - 1880
Handcrafted from solid walnut
Original antique condition
Pale blue-gray painted finish to the front with visible wear, paint loss, and surface marks throughout
Walnut is visible at the edges and on the reverse
Decorative raised panel detailing with expected softening from age
Hardware has been removed (as found), except for half-barrel hinges
Surface wear, small nicks, and imperfections consistent with age and use
When together, doors measure approximately 49.75" W x 76" H x 1.25" D
