Interior Door, 2 Panel, 29.625" x 80.625"

$950.00

Straight from the French countryside, this antique two-panel door bears the honest wear of time. Crafted from solid oak and retaining traces of its original cream and white layered paint, the surface has weathered into a striking crackled finish, revealing pockets of warm wood beneath. The backside shows an earlier coat of muted sage-grey, now softened to a patina of age.

Thick, hand-carved panels, visible mortise-and-tenon joints, and original iron hardware—including a lock box with a well-earned layer of rust—point to its 19th-century origins. Whether installed as a functional passage, mounted as wall art, or repurposed as a sliding pantry door, this piece brings a soulful, storied element into any space.

  • Salvaged in France, from the late 19th century

  • Crafted from solid oak

  • Old, crackled, creamy white paint on the exterior, with worn sage green paint on the interior
