Handcrafted from solid wood, these paneled shutters once surrounded windows on a home in the French countryside. Layers of the original light blue paint have weathered over time resulting in the perfect amount of chippy-ness. Each shutter opens to reveal a large space inside, ready to be installed in the kitchen, bathroom, or at the end of the hall enclosing a custom-built closet or pantry in your home.
Found in France, dating from the 19th century
Original blue paint has worn in areas revealing the natural wood beneath
Handcrafted from solid wood and constructed using mortise and tenon and pegged joinery
Typical separation of planks, minor cracks and light staining throughout, consistent with age and use
